Understanding the investigation
Pressure test — $250: a technician isolates and tests applicable plumbing lines to determine whether they hold pressure. Return and skimmer lines may be tested separately. Results help indicate whether a plumbing leak is present.
Leak detection — $250: when further investigation is required, specialized testing and listening equipment can help locate a suspected leak. The technician identifies and marks the suspected location where possible.
Important service details
Repairs are separate and require customer approval. Repair figures are reference prices; final costs depend on site conditions and required work. Concrete cutting, excavation, plumbing repair, retesting, backfilling and patching may be involved. Underground conditions can affect the final scope. Not every leak can be located without excavation.
